FOX Thought Leaders Roundtable
2004 Topic: Forging Successful Partnerships in the Face of Conflicts of Interest When selecting subject matter for the first two sessions of the FOX Thought Leaders Roundtable, Family Office Exchange and our exclusive sponsor U.S. Trust sought a critical issue that had far-reaching impact across the private wealth management industry. A topic that often came to the forefront in our review was the issue of conflicts of interest in the financial services industry and its effect on relationships between wealth owners and professional advisors. The decision to focus on this subject matter as one of the most pressing issues facing the private wealth industry has been corroborated by the prevalence of this topic in newspapers and industry journals within the last year. Two Roundtable sessions were held on this topic (October 2003 and April 2004) and the FOX Thought Leaders Compendium provides a summary of the discoveries from those group discussions. For more information regarding the 2004 Thought Leaders Compendium, contact Anna Nichols at 312-327-1214, anichols@familyoffice.com. US Trust is the exclusive FOX Thought Leaders Roundtable sponsor.
