Ms. Hamilton serves as a strategic advisor to sophisticated investors with assets lasting beyond one generation. Ms. Hamilton has focused her expertise on the $50+ million market since 1986, when she joined the Personal Trust Department of Harris Bank. Her initial research identified the financial services needed by family groups with more than $1 billion in assets. This research led to her recognition of the unique needs of financial families. She subsequently spearheaded the first national conference designed to educate family principals and family office managers. Prior to joining Harris Bank, Ms. Hamilton spent eight years in marketing and client relations’ management for AT&T in Ohio and Illinois.

As one of the country’s leading spokespersons about private wealth management and the family office concept, Ms. Hamilton is a frequent speaker at global conferences for private investors and has been featured in a variety of publications, such as Fortune, Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. She is Editorial Advisor for Private Wealth Management (Campden Press, London), and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Private Portfolio Management.

Ms. Hamilton holds a master’s of business administration from the University of North Florida and a bachelor of arts from Vanderbilt University.
