Job Description:
This position has oversight of all research and content development, education programs, content management and thought leadership. He/she will serve as part of the Executive Team and will provide a key voice in all strategic planning and review sessions.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Incorporate FOX vision of being a leader in private wealth industry knowledge into actionable education, knowledge and thought leadership strategies; accountable for oversight and execution of strategy.
- Provide strategic guidance on knowledge distribution platforms; serve as “knowledge platform architect” and core member of any web-based initiatives
- Serve as in-house thought leadership coach/mentor; provide advice and counsel to employees on knowledge, content and education related matters
- Champion the drive toward a knowledge-centered culture; align and integrate all groups and functions in order to leverage knowledge management strategically across the entire organization
- Oversee product research and development efforts, including partnering with other firm leadership on industry benchmarking/best practices, market research, product feasibility studies and “go to market” plans
- Leverage existing content in the creation of new knowledge/education related products and services
- Manage P&L for Knowledge portion of business
- Develop the measurements and standards to ensure success, to support continuous quantifiable productivity of knowledge efforts and to determine their strategic outcomes.
- Serve as catalyst for the knowledge centered business model; educate and encourage staff to embrace the benefits of a knowledge centric culture.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 15 year experience in knowledge management, training, thought leadership or education role
- Advanced degree in business, education, communications or a related field; PhD or other terminal degree preferred, but not required
- Experience overseeing P&L statements and department budgets
- Solid understanding of the private wealth industry
- Proven results implementing state of the art learning/knowledge technology solutions
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning and communication theories
- Proven results working with and across multiple functional disciplines including consulting, research, sales and relationship management
- Understanding of information architecture principles, processes and too
