Position Overview:
The Family Office Relationship Manager builds, strengthens, and maintains relationships with family office members.
Serving as the liaison between the member and the resources FOX offers, the Family Office Relationship Manager holds primary responsibility for providing customized, high-quality member service. This position reports directly to the Managing Director, Member Relations for the firm’s Family Office membership and line of business.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute the membership renewal process through the attainment of quarterly and annual renewal targets and associated service metrics
- Plan and execute an effective relationship strategy and maintain effective long-term business relationships at the senior level with key decision makers and influencers
- Steward member service, monitor and ensure service utilization and engagement, welcome new members, and develop strategies to ensure the highest quality service in member interaction including benchmarking and forum participation
- Serve as a trusted adviser on all pertinent issues while effectively addressing and resolving member concerns and challenges
- Provide feedback on market and membership trends to executive management team in effort to ensure appropriate service structure in place to meet renewal goals
- Grow and develop relationships and provide service to members of the Financial Executives Network (FEN) and support programs for the group, including coordinating the agenda and logistics for all FEN meetings
- Contribute content to and share member feedback with the Research and Member Services departments
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or general business required with at least seven years of experience working in accounting/tax/personal financial planning for a family office, accounting firm or wealth management firm; CPA or MST a plus
- Demonstrated ability to focus on clients, making their needs a primary focus of actions as well as the ability to initiate, build, and sustain productive client relationships through delivery of quality service leading to exceptional client satisfaction
- Excellent presentation, writing, and negotiation skills, ability to create and deliver convincing arguments
- Superior process and time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and credibility quickly with a senior-level audience
- Demonstrated ability to develop high quality relationships based on trust and integrity with appropriate client contacts to drive results
