Job Description:
The FOX Cyberarian is a pivotal part of the firm’s Knowledge Centered Business Vision and related strategies. This position reports to the Managing Director of Content Development and serves as a link between the firm’s various data sources and employee’s ability to develop and distribute the highest quality of knowledge, insights and analysis to our clients.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize content meta data
- Review industry print and online publications, develop abstracts as needed and push various content to appropriate audiences
- Track, analyze and report on usage trends (internal and external) of content management tool and recommend actions to improve Knowledge Center effectiveness and/or contribute to firm-wide content development
- Collaborate with appropriate teams on content repurposing and packaging options
- Serve as KC Champion Liaison; encourage continuous improvement with and use of self-service tools
- Develop techniques for the collection, organization, interpretation, and classification of information and create effective search methodology
- Collaborate on KC training; develop training / training materials as needed
- Recommend updates/enhancements to content management tool
- Maintain a database of the firm’s print and online subscriptions and research tools; recommend additions to the database and recommend target audiences (within the firm) for each subscription service
- Serve as a resource as a resource librarian for staff and members (determine information needs and fulfill needs by providing relevant material; provide assistance in the search for and acquisition of materials)
- Serve as the bridge between the US content team and the International content team
Ideal Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in library sciences, social sciences or a related field
- 3 to 5 years experience in librarian or content management role
- Knowledge of private wealth preferred

- Integrating and coding skills; ability to use industry/market knowledge to manage vocabulary, collect/organize content
- Reviewing, evaluating and writing skills; ability to edit content, write abstracts and create new content
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically MS Excel
- Proficiency with databases and database management; advanced search skills
