	Sample Benchmarking Reports

Following on the success of its benchmarking of family offices in the United States, Family Office Exchange (FOX) is launching a similar initiative to gather comparative data on the staffing, services, investments and governance of family offices globally.

Participants in FOX’s benchmarking initiatives have highlighted the value that comes from assessing their activities against a sample of truly comparable peers. It provides a way to identify proper staffing levels given the complexity of a family’s affairs, offers a means of assessing the appropriateness of the scope of services offered to family members and delivers metrics for assessing an office’s operational efficiency.

This initiative will gather information and provide individualized assessments on five key areas:

Family governance structure
Family office staffing and organization
Services offered to families
Investable assets
Family office operating costs

FOX’s international benchmarking initiative is open to all non-commercial,
single-family offices, and there is no cost to participate. All data collected will be treated as private and will not be published or shared with any external party. In return for participation, FOX will deliver an individualized report comparing each participating family office with the aggregate metrics from other participants.
