Leading Advisors
What Is A FOX Strategic Advisor?
Family Office Exchange Strategic
Advisors are invited to partner with FOX based on their reputation as an industry
leader; their ability to deliver educational content for Family Office Exchange
members; and their willingness to commit to a deeper relationship with FOX members.
As an educational partner, Strategic Advisors earn opportunities for unique
marketplace visibility and networking. An annual business plan and regular meetings
with the Strategic Advisor and FOX relationship managers ensure a productive,
quality commitment to our family office members and the industry.
In addition to the benefits of a regular advisor membership,
Strategic Advisors are highlighted in an exclusive Strategic Advisor directory
on the public and private web sites; are invited to participate in the family-only
day at the Fall Forum; receive first views of family office member mini-survey
results; and have access to a relationship manager who provides marketing strategy
and industry consulting.
Criteria
To be invited to become a Strategic Advisor, firms must meet the following minimum
criteria:
- Be recognized as an industry leader in their professional
discipline;
- Have relationships with at least 10 ultra affluent
clients who have a minimum of $25 million in liquid assets;
- Be recommended by three FOX family office members or
Strategic Advisors;
- Have demonstrated the ability to perform primary research
and discuss ideas of interest to members;
- Have a proven commitment to educate families of significant
wealth about inter-disciplinary wealth management issues as exhibited by their
own seminars, research and white papers;
- Have the willingness and the resources to commit to
a partnership with FOX.
Steps to Becoming a Strategic Advisor
The process of becoming a Strategic Advisor with FOX involves
several steps and starts with a nomination to the FOX senior management team.
If the nomination is approved, the nominated firm receives an invitation to
join this exclusive community. Once the firm accepts the invitation, we conduct
an initial, in-depth, on-site meeting to outline the goals and responsibilities
that are a core part of the partnership.
The orientation session, which
is the basis for a strong, 12-month working partnership, covers the Strategic
Advisor's mission, corporate structure, special capabilities and goals as a
firm in serving the unique needs of families with complex multi-generational
wealth issues.
